About Woolings World
Woolings World began as a passion project by Liam O’Leary, a Senior Technical Artist and Real-Time Pipeline Specialist, and Amanda Spagnolo, a Writer and Producer.
Inspired by the power of imagination to support emotional and social development, the series was created to help preschoolers build resilience, empathy, and connection through gentle, character-led storytelling.
Since its inception, Woolings World has grown into a fully developed preschool property, securing early development funding from Screen Australia and the Australian Children’s Television Foundation. We've built a distinctive visual identity, introduced key characters like Pebble, Button, and Knots, and crafted stories designed to nurture kindness, creativity, and curiosity.
Now, Woolings World is entering its next chapter, pitching to networks, platforms, and partners to bring the show to life as a full animated series, launching on YouTube later in 2025. With a strong foundation and clear educational values, we aim to build a global brand that celebrates the role of imagination in early learning and emotional wellbeing.
Pebble
Pebble is calm, kind, and quietly confident, the heart of Woolings World. With an open mind and a big imagination, Pebble sees the best in others and gently encourages friends to be brave, playful, and true to themselves. Whether leading a dance or turning a bedroom into a stage, Pebble knows that a little belief can unlock big magic.
Button
Button is energetic, expressive, and full of heart, even if sometimes a little shy about it. He loves to dance, dress up, and dream big, but he sometimes needs a little encouragement to shine. Button is playful, a little dramatic, and always bursting with creativity, especially when someone like Pebble reminds him that being yourself is more than enough.
Knots
Knots is a speedy little sloth full of energy, curiosity, and big feelings. Sloths are supposed to be slow, but no one told her that. Whether she’s racing leaves in the wind or leading the dance party, Knots brings unstoppable joy and a whole lot of heart to every adventure.
